The purchase process
Payment is handled by Stripe
Card details are neither visible to nor stored by the Provider; the payment process takes place entirely within Stripe's system.Required details
The purchase requires a name, a university email address and the institution. The license key is sent to the email address provided.
Processing time
Purchases are currently processed manually, so some time may pass between payment and delivery of the license key.
Definition of a semester
A semester runs from the start of one exam period to the start of the next, irrespective of the date of purchase. The current date is published on GitHub.
Questions about purchasing
What is the difference between the free and licensed versions?
The free version allows subjects and courses to be selected and clash-free timetables to be generated. Filters, optimization, search, favorites and the course exchange marketplace form part of the license.
Are refunds available?
No. Delivery of the license key commences performance immediately, and accordingly, under Section 29(1)(m) of Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the right of withdrawal may no longer be exercised in respect of digital content. By initiating payment the user expressly consents to this.
Is it available to students of other universities?
Licenses can currently be issued to students of BME, ELTE and ÓE, as testing was carried out on the systems of these institutions. For other institutions, expansion is considered on the basis of enquiries received.
What should be done in case of a hardware change?
The license key binds to the given machine on activation. In case of a hardware change, reactivation can be requested at [email protected].
Evaluation before purchase
Downloading the free version allows the core functionality to be evaluated beforehand. The license can be purchased at any time afterwards.
